FondueCheesy Fundue

Go retro with a fondue!! They’re very chic and all the rage, great fun for kids too!!

Serves 4

 


3tsp cornflour
225ml white wine or vegetable stock
1 garlic clove, crushed
2 x 200g bags grated Seriously Strong Chedddar
1tsp dried oregano
1tbsp whiskey (optional)
Serve with chunks of baguette, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, cooked chunks of chicken or beef

  1. Mix together the cornflour with a little of the wine. Put the garlic and remaining white wine in a fondue pot or heavy based pan. Bring to the boil, lower the heat and add the cheese, stirring until melted.
  2. Add cornflour and oregano, cook for 2 mins, stirring gently until combined and creamy– do not allow to boil. Add the whiskey and serve with chunks of bread, broccoli etc.
