Mozzarella canapés
Serves 4 people (8 canapés)
Prep: less then 30 minutes
- 375g ready rolled puff pastry
- 1 beaten egg for glaze
- 250g Galbani Santa Lucia Mozzarella Maxi, sliced
- Basil pesto
- Thyme
- Basil
- Olives
- Sun blush tomatoes
- Pre-heat the oven to 200C.
- Using a 9cm cutter cut the pastry into 8 rounds.
- Place on a baking sheet and brush with beaten egg.
- Bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown and well risen.
- Remove the domed top of pastry and cover each round with a slice of mozzarella.
- Put back in the oven for a few minutes until the cheese has started to melt.
- Top with pesto, herbs, olives, sun blush tomatoes and pesto oil.
